Vacation Photos - Dino Museum

We recently took a family vacation to Atlanta, GA. I have a ton a photos I still need to get in the scrapbook. Today's layout shows our day visiting the Fernbank Mueseum dinosaur exhibit. The boys had a great time. Landon is crazy about dinosaurs especially with all the Jurassic Park hype. I used a sketch from the June 2015 Page Maps selection.

Sizzlin Summer ’15 Challenge

Hope you had a great weekend! I stayed up late to put together a layout for Scrapbook Challenges' Sizzlin' Summer '15 Challenge. There were a ton a great sketches to choose from. I decided to work from sketch #10 check it out here.

Here is my layout:

I decided on this sweet picture of Landon in his splash pool. I choose colors to tie in with the pool and grass in the background of the photo. I also did something a little different by including some watercolor "splashes" and droplets. I felt like it worked with the story and mood of the photo. The papers are from Recollections Bright and Basic collection.

Hi! Welcome to my brand new blog. My name is Hayley. This is my first ever blog. I'm very excited to share some of my layouts and projects with you. I've been scrapbooking a few years. I love, love, love patterned paper. I feel like scrapbooking helps me hold on to those precious moments that may have otherwise got lost in the blur of everyday life.

The above image was created with papers from My Mind's Eye, "Hootenanny" 6x6 paper pad. I love the cheerful colors. The small prints work great for smaller shapes like these letters.
